Description
Elaborate and captivating work on a narrative level representing the repressed anxiety of a troubled person seated on the ground, in a natural setting carved in stone. The same person, standing, springs out from the candid marble and projects himself toward a future dimension. A dynamic point of view on humankind overcoming its fears, on a new identity and a new hope for the contemporary man. The work, commissioned by the Hakone Museum, was created by sculptor Giuliano Vangi. It was made using a single block of marble later divided into two parts and moulded in Massimo Galleni’s sculpture laboratory in Pietrasanta
